Frequently asked questions
Do you sell to end customers?
No. STS USA supplies RV manufacturers (OEMs) and dealers. We no longer offer a spare parts service for end customers – please contact the customer service of the vehicle manufacturer or dealer, or the specialized trade.
Which plug-in cylinders do your locks accept?
Most STS locks are prepared for STS, Zadi and HSC plug-in cylinders; some models for STS and Zadi. The filler cap also accepts FF-2. The compatible systems are listed on every product page.
Can every lock on a vehicle use the same key?
Yes. Entry doors, storage and gas bottle compartments, garage doors and filler caps can all be keyed alike with one STS cylinder system. For security reasons we do not offer master keys.
Can we get our logo on the key?
Yes – individual key heads or your company logo are possible on request, and customer-specific key code ranges can be reserved for your brand.
Do you offer custom colors?
Most locks are available in various colors. For the ArcH entry door lock, special colors are available from 500 pieces. Design changes on our compression locks are possible on request.
Are dimensions available in inches?
All binding dimensions are metric. On our product pages we show rounded inch values for reference; drawings are available for OEM projects.
Which certifications do your products have?
ArcH and Kubus XLe comply with the M1 standard; CubeLine is protected by German patent DE 10 2021 122 177; fresh water components are suitable for drinking water under current German regulations. Please tell us about any US-specific requirements for your project – we will check them with you.
